Stevie Spring CBE was named by GQ magazine as one of the UK’s 100 most connected women and is on the Telegraph/Debretts list of Britain’s 500 most influential people .
Described by The Guardian as 'a media industry grandee', Stevie started in law, moved into television and marketing , then spent 16 years in advertising agency leadership. She has been CEO of two international media companies, both public companies, and is now a portfolio director, investor and adviser to private equity.
Currently,she chairs The British Council - the UK's international organisation for arts,culture and education whose revenues exceed £1bn ; Kino-mo - a 'scale-up' privately held global technology company specialising in 3D connected imaging; is a director and Chairman of Remuneration for the world's largest consumer cooperative, the £10bn turnover Coop Group; and recently completed the sales of both Ladbroke Coral Group Plc to GVC plc and the ITG Group to Equistone PE.
She is also Chairman of Mind, the UK's largest mental health charity, having previously chaired BBC Children in Need, the Groundwork Federation, and Arts and Business, one of the Prince's Trust Charities.
