Mr.  Auta Oliver Yakubu holds BA Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He was employed by Federal Civil Service Commission as Administrative Officer II in October 2003.He worked in Defunct NAPEP from 2003 to 2009, Ministry of Defence 2009- 2010 and later to Federal Ministry of Justice in 2010 -2013. He is presently in Ministry of Communications & Digital Economy. In the course of perfuming his duties in Federal Ministry of Justice he was identified for honesty and integrity and nominated to be trained and also served as a Member Anti- Corruption and Transparency Monitoring Unit in the Ministry in 2012. The officer was among the first set of Civil Servants to be trained by ICPC in Lagos with support from Justice For All Nigeria (J4ALL) for deployment to MDAs in 2013.

 Mr. Auta Oliver Yakubu was nomination in to the Secretariat of Presidential Committee on Subsidy Reinvestment Programme (SURE-P) as ACTU Head.

He has handled series of assignments for ICPC i.e.

Mr. Auta Oliver Yakubu was in the ICPC Special Investigation Team that recovered 103 vehicles   worth ₦450,000,000.00 stolen by Government Officials in November 2016, when the present Administration wound down the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme. These vehicles included Luxury Sports, Utility Vehicles, SUVs, Saloons, etc. that were recovered from MDAs which received billions from the Scheme for infrastructural Development and provision of services.

 Mr. Auta Oliver Yakubu is a highly reliable committed officer who has demonstrated transparency and expertise in his duties. He can be described as “Service Delivery Personified” because of his firm belief in effective and efficient service delivery coupled with his strength of character and prudence in the management of resources. He is presently a Member of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS) 2017-2020 Monitoring and Evaluation Committee saddled with the responsibility of ensuring compliance to the NACS Action Plan in MDAs and also Secretary Anti-Corruption & Transparency Unit (ACTU) of Federal Ministry of Communications & Digital Economy. In 2019, he receive the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Commendation Award for his Commitment and Dedication to Service in Nigeria
