Leo FlynnPrincipal Legal Adviser, Legal Services at European Commission
Leo Flynn, a graduate of the National University of Ireland and of Cambridge University, joined the Legal Service of the European Commission in 2002. He is a Principal Legal Adviser, and currently heads the AIDE team, dealing with State aid law and trade defence instruments.
Prior to joining the Commission, Leo had worked as a Legal Secretary at the Court of Justice for five years. From 1992 to 1997, he had lectured at King’s College, London, where he is a visiting professor at its Centre for European Law.
