Caroline WolberinkHead of Sustainability Team at Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM)
Caroline Wolberink is the head of the team at ACM that works on the development of a policy regarding the application of competition law on sustainability agreements. Her tasks included the coordination of the investigation and analysis of the ‘Chicken of Tomorrow’ case, and the drafting of new guidelines on sustainability agreements.
She is currently also the head of a team that monitors the food supply chain, tasked with answering the question what the main obstacles are for farmers when making the transition to a circular agricultural sector.
Caroline also has experience as project leader for investigations into cartels and abuses of dominance.
Caroline started her career with traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels. She has worked as a European law and competition law counsel for almost ten years. In 2005, she joined the Netherlands Competition Authority, which, after a merger with two other regulators, is now known as the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM)
