Jacquelyn MacLennan is a partner in White & Case’s EU practice, focusing on antitrust law. She is recognized by Chambers and Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in EU antitrust law and EU trade/regulatory law. She has twice been named Best Woman in Competition and Antirust in Europe by IFLR, as well as being a finalist for Best in International Trade, and is included in Global Competition Review’s 100 Elite Women in Antitrust. She was nominated by FT Innovative Lawyers in 2018 as one of the “Top Ten Innovative Lawyers”. She is the firm’s Global Pro Bono Practice Leader, and is a visiting fellow at Edinburgh University’s Europa Institute.
Jacquelyn has extensive litigation experience. She represents leading global corporations (as well as civil society organizations and individuals on a pro bono basis) in cases before the EU Courts in Luxembourg and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. She has been involved in cutting-edge EU law cases (including Case C-17/10 Toshiba and others defining ne bis in idem and the boundaries for actions by national competition authorities and the European Commission in implementing EU competition). Jacquelyn advises and is regularly invited to speak on antitrust, trade and regulatory law and issues of business and human rights.
