Annemarie ter Heegde is an official in the European Commission´s Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP). The unit is in charge of coordinating the Commission's antitrust and cartel cases and developing competition policy in this area. Annemarie has nearly 20 years of experience in competition law, first in private practice and since 2008 in the Commission. She worked extensively in the area of cartels and gained in depth knowledge on several procedural matters. Currently she provides upstream case support to several antitrust units and coordinates policy projects.
