Based in Kampala since 1995, Farhan Nakhooda has over 40 years experience in corporate planning, market and economic analysis, project preparation, project financing, project contracts and project implementation supervision. He has worked on projects in diverse business sectors in India, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, etc. He has been responsible for negotiations with Governments, development finance institutions, commercial banks, international suppliers, joint-venture partners, etc.

He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
