A&L Biological Inc., a subsidiary of A&L Canada Laboratories Inc., has been granted registration from the Canadian Food and Inspection Agency (CFIA) for AL-Bio 7, a new biostimulant formulation.
AL-Bio 7 improves soil and plant health by harnessing the beneficial properties of the bacterial strain AL-336. AL-Bio 7 is designed to stimulate plant and root growth, improve stress resistance and increase crop yield in high-value specialty crops.
A&L’s greenhouse and field trials have shown significant improvement in plant vigour, root development, biomass and yield for plants in a transplant setting.
Full commercialization of AL-Bio 7 Canada is planned for March 2022.
