Mohammad Ehaab, who goes by his last name Ehaab is a global citizen, he is a Jordanian-born Malaysianized Indian now with bacon . The bacon reference solidifies his spot in the “Dad Jokes- Hall of Shame” and is an homage to the country where bacon is found on everything.
As a non-traditional engineer, Ehaab brings together his experience as a core engineer, love for design thinking and focus on business fundamentals to help translate user needs and pain points to develop products that matter. He co-founded General Motor’s internal incubator with the belief that innovation is hard but not impossible and has had over 6 years of product development experience in the automotive industry. In his current role, Ehaab is currently incubating a project by testing different hypothesis and bringing products to market quicker.
Ehaab very recently graduated (May 2019) from University of Michigan – Ross School of Business with his MBA. Ehaab has earned an Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago in 2011 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical engineering from IIUM, Malaysia in 2005. Ehaab is very passionate about the role that education has to play in one’s life and channeling that by being a board member at Motor City Scholars, a non-profit working to expand educational opportunities for Metro Detroit-area youth.
