Abdul Habib is a professor of infectious and tropical diseases and epidemiology. His researches focus on infectious diseases, tropical snakebite, and global health including COVID-19. He was formerly dean faculty of medicine and later foundation provost college of health sciences at Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria. He serves as advisor, member or trustee to several national and international organizations.
