Mike Taussig, PhDCEO at Cambridge Protein Arrays Ltd.
Mike Taussig is founder and CEO of Cambridge Protein Arrays Ltd., a European provider of largescale protein arrays and screening services for antibody validation, autoantibody discovery and protein interactions. He was formerly head of the Protein Technology Group at The Babraham Institute, Cambridge, UK. His research experience and interests include structure and genetics of antibodies, display libraries, array design, cell free protein expression and antibody crystallography. He is noted as co-inventor of ribosome display technology for in vitro selection of antibodies, and in situ protein array methods. He has coordinated several largescale European networking and research projects with the aim of establishing resources of antibodies and other affinity reagents for detection of the human proteome. He is the organiser of the biennial Alpbach workshops on Affinity Proteomics, a leading conference dealing with issues of antibody validation (www.affinityproteomicsalpbach.com). Mike is also Editor in Chief of New Biotechnology, the official journal of the European Federation of Biotechnology.
