Roeland Lameris is a PhD student in the lab of prof. Tanja D. Gruijl and prof. dr. Hans J. van de Vliet at Cancer Center Amsterdam, Amsterdam UMC. His main research interests are the application of antibody and innate-like T cells for cancer treatment. As a part of his training he visited prof. J. Rossjohn’s lab, Monash University, Melbourne, to learn the principles of protein crystallography. Current work include developments of bispecific single domain antibodies engaging type 1 NKT and Vγ9Vδ2-T cells. Parallel to his research activities he is in training to become a medical oncologist.
