Sally Ward, PhDProfessor at University of Southampton and Texas A&M University Health Science Center
Sally Ward completed her Ph.D. research at Cambridge University and subsequently carried out research on antibody repertoires in Sir Greg Winter’s laboratory. In 1990 she joined UT Southwestern Medical Center as an Assistant Professor, and from 2002-2014 was a Professor at the same institution. Since 2014, she has been a Professor at Texas A&M University, and in 2018 was appointed as Director of Translational Immunology in the Centre for Cancer Immunology in Southampton. She is currently Vice President of the Antibody Society. Her research involves the use of protein engineering, microscopy and in vivo studies to develop antibody-based therapeutics.
