Brad GartlandSenior Client Manager at Charles River Laboratories
Based at the Charles River Laboratories High Peak, UK site, Brad is responsible for growing the Retrogenix Cell Microarray Technology in North America, focusing on the West Coast, US & Canada, and Mexico. Previously, Brad developed and undertook lead generation and client outreach activities in Europe and Asia Pacific, helping to extend the Retrogenix Cell Microarray Technology in new key markets. Prior to joining the company, Brad graduated from the University of Durham with a First Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science, which included a placement year as a Primary Pharmacology Research Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Here he developed and validated high-throughput receptor binding assays (RBA's) that were adopted by the department to screen large panels of antibodies. Brad’s wider laboratory experience includes mammalian cell culture and analytical methods in early-phase drug discovery, and he has a detailed understanding of quality control systems (GDP, GMP, GLP) for the medical industry. Brad is also a trustee of a charity that he co-founded to raise awareness around men’s mental health.
