Fridtjof Lund-JohansenSenior Scientist at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet
Profile
Fridtjof Lund-Johansen is an MD PhD with background in hematology. He has been active in flow cytometry (FCM) since 1987, and in the mid 1990s he invented FCM analysis of immuno-precipitates (IP-FCM). During the past 10 years he has transformed IP-FCM into Microsphere Affinity Proteomics (MAP) where beads with thousands of fluorescent bar codes are used to build proteome-scale assays. His current research focus is on integration of MAP and mass spectrometry (MS). Lund-Johansen is an internationally renown expert on antibody validation and works in close collaboration with many world-leading antibody manufacturers to implement MAP/MS as a pillar in antibody quality assessment.
