Hedda Wardemann, PhDProfessor and Head, Division of B Cell Immunology at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ)
Profile
Hedda Wardemann is a B cell immunologist with a primary interest in antibody repertoires and the functional evolution of human B cell responses and memory formation. She uses single-cell immunoglobulin gene and TCR repertoire analyses to measure the diversity and to track the clonal evolution of B cells and T cells in health and disease. In combination with antibody and TCR expression cloning her lab assesses the specificity and quality of human B cell and T cell responses with the long-term goal to develop tools to direct immune responses by targeted interventions strategies.
