Prof. Kazuo SUZUKI obtained PhD degree at Tokyo Metropolitan University Graduate School of Science, Biology in 1978. He has held a number of important positions as Chief in National Institute of Nutrition-Tokyo, Dept. of Pathology, RERF-Hiroshima which he met Dr. Tomisaku KAWASAKI finding Kawasaki disease in 1967, Dept. of Antibiotics, National Institute of Infectious Diseases-Tokyo, Professor of Dept. of Immunology, Chiba University Graduate School of Medicine, and Professor of University of Tokyo. He is now President and CEO, A-CLIP Institute, Co., Ltd. and Professor of Teikyo University - Director of Asia International Institute of Infectious Disease Control for research in infectious diseases and vasculitis. During these research works he published 221 original papers in peer reviewed international journals. Regarding experiences, he is one of the persons responsible for studies on A/H5N1flu, ARDS, vasculitis and Kawasaki disease. He is a steering committee member of ANCA Workshop. He also works as some leaders of MHLW projects in recombinant IgGs and JST projects in quantum dots and VasSF development.
