Dr. Leslie Goo is an Assistant Professor at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA. She received a B.S. in Microbiology and an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Ph.D. in Pathobiology from the University of Washington, Seattle. She performed her postdoctoral training at NIH / NIAID and prior to joining Fred Hutch, she led an independent research group within the Infectious Disease Initiative at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub in San Francisco, CA. Her current research group is focused on identifying the determinants of protective versus pathogenic functions of antibodies against mosquito-borne flaviviruses.
