Matt Levengood, Ph.D. is a Principal Scientist in Protein Sciences at Seattle Genetics, Inc. a global biotechnology company that develops commercialized therapies that target cancer. He was trained in natural product chemistry, organic synthesis and protein design, receiving his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and conducting postdoctoral work as an NIH fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has worked for Seattle Genetics since 2011 and has been involved in the creation of novel antibody and antibody-drug conjugate technologies. His current interests are in developing methods to increase drug activity at target sites.
