Jessica VanDerMiller is Senior Competition Counsel at Cisco. Jessica provides legal counsel on a variety of antitrust and competition matters, including M&A and strategic business ventures, compliance policies and training, risk management, regulatory inquiries, partner relationships, and internal investigations.

Before joining Cisco in 2024, Jessica was Senior Competition Counsel at Splunk for six years. During that time, Jessica served as the lead antitrust attorney for Splunk’s acquisition by Cisco (at the time, the third largest technology deal in history). Jessica has also practiced antitrust law at Squire Patton Boggs and was an attorney advisor at the Federal Trade Commission.

Jessica received her J.D. from George Mason University.
