Dr. Joshua Sherman is a Principal in the Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice of CRA. He holds joint faculty appointments at the Kellogg School of Management and the Department of Economics at Northwestern University, where he has taught courses in antitrust economics, law and economics, and econometrics.
Dr. Sherman has been engaged to estimate antitrust damages and has provided economic and econometric analysis to clients in a variety of antitrust matters, including matters relating to alleged collusion, monopolization, tying, and mergers, among other areas. His peer-reviewed academic articles in journals such as The Economic Journal and Management Science have examined various aspects surrounding competition and pricing behavior.
Dr. Sherman has delivered talks at the US Department of Justice and the Israel Competition Authority and has spoken at conferences and universities worldwide. His article “When Antitrust’s Consumer Welfare Standard and ESG Collide” has been nominated by Concurrences for the 2022 Antitrust Writing Awards.
