John Falkingham has been involved in making sea ice and iceberg information available for over 40 years. As secretariat to the International Ice Charting Working Group (IICWG) since 2008, he has brought the international ice service community together and facilitated the development and implementation of policies, practices, and standards to enhance the safety of maritime operations in ice-laden waters.
