Lasse Rabenstein

CEO at Drift & Noise Polar Services

Lasse Rabenstein is co-founder of Drift & Noise Polar Services, a spin-off from the german Alfred Wegener Institut for Polar and Marine Research (AWI). He holds a Msc degree in Geophysics and gained his PhD in 2010 about sea-ice thickness surveying in the Arctic. The past ten years he worked as a researcher and lecturer at the AWI and the renowned Swiss Polytechnical Institute (ETH) in Zurich. He is author of several scientific publications covering subjects such as surveying technologies for glaciers, sea-ice and permafrost. During his career he conducted several research expeditions to the Arctic and to high alpine environments.
