Laurent Fedi

Associate Professor at KEDGE Business School

Laurent Fedi holds a doctorate in Maritime Law from the Faculty of Law at Aix-Marseille University (France). He started his professional career in a ship brokerage company. Since 2007, he has been Associate Professor at KEDGE Business School (Marseille Campus, France). He directed the Maritime Cluster for 8 years. Laurent FEDI lectures at different levels of education. The main courses taught are Maritime Law (safety, security, and environmental protection), International Risk Management, and European Competition Law. In addition, he currently leads different research projects on:

• the IMO Polar Code and the Artic risk assessment (marine accidents, POLARIS)
• the evolution of maritime law on GHG from international shipping
• the competition issues in the Liners industry
