How to get started
You will receive your virtual platform login details with your unique access code a few days before the event. Once you're in, simply fill in your matchmaking categories, create a profile and start getting to know your fellow attendees.
For the best virtual experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox. If you use other browsers, the video call experience may be limited. Internet Explorer is not supported.
Matchmaking & networking
Our AI based match making system will help you make the most of your time by suggesting connections which are most valuable to you based on your interests.
Once your personalised profile is set up, the matchmaking algorithm will recommend top matches to you. You can see everyone registered for the event, but your most relevant matches are listed first.
Your personal introduction is a vital part of your profile, as it helps you stand out. Other attendees can also search for keywords in your intro, so do include your unique offering and what you’re looking to achieve from attending the Arctic Shipping Virtual Week.
Booking a meeting is easy
If you see someone you’d like to meet, reach out and schedule a meeting to connect on a video call.
Time slots where both parties are available are displayed to enable you to quickly set up 1:1 meetings.
During these 1:1 meetings you can view video, share screens and attendees can invite their registered colleagues to join too.
Once you have made a connection, you can choose to share your contact details with people you have chosen to meet. You can also link your profile to social media channels.
