Senior Scientist Drug Delivery at LGC Axolabs

Carla is currently Senior Scientist Chemistry, leading the formulation group at Axolabs (a LGC company) in Kulmbach, Germany. Focus of her working group is lipid synthesis and lipid nanoparticles formulation of nucleic acids as cargo, mostly for therapeutic applications. Carla had held research positions in academia in US and Europe (France, England), before joining Axolabs. She has more than 20 years of working-experience in the LNP field, and has significantly contributed in the development and current state of the art of this platform as an author and inventor of >20 peer reviewed scientific articles and patents.
