Atul Gupta is Partner, Trilegal and is part of Employment and Corporate practice group. He possesses extensive experience and specialist knowledge of India’s complex labour and employment laws, and regularly assists clients in managing all legal aspects of their human capital. Over his career, Atul has also represented numerous companies on business acquisitions and investments, and has extensively advised on compliances under corporate and foreign exchange laws, as well as a wide range of regulatory and technology law related issues.

Atul’s practice reflects his mixed corporate and employment law experience, giving him the ability to provide comprehensive advice on complex domestic and cross border transactions. He regularly advises clients on asset and business sales/acquisitions and is well placed to help clients navigate the corporate and employment law issues that form a pertinent part of these transactions.

Atul draws upon a broad base of experience and practical knowledge in his practice, and his clients have included major organizations across varied sectors such as food and confectionary, automobile, logistics, health and imaging, renewable power, retail, e-commerce, technology services, outsourcing, consulting, IT products & services and telecom. Atul regularly conducts training sessions for clients and also contributes to legal publications by organizations such as the IBLJ, World Bank, etc. He has also been recognized and quoted as an “associate to watch” by Chambers Asia Pacific 2014 and 2015 guides.

Atul is an alumnus of University of Pune. He is a member of Bar Council of Karnataka, India.
