Profile

Connie is a barrister-at-law in Hong Kong with 12 years of experience. She has a broad civil and commercial practice in litigation and arbitration including those with cross-border elements. Her practice has particular emphasis on company, insolvency, regulatory and competition law matters. She is ranked as a Leading Junior for Commercial Disputes and Competition Law in the inaugural Legal 500 Asia Pacific edition for the Hong Kong Bar in 2021.

Apart from acting as an advocate, Connie also sits as an arbitrator in both administered and ad hoc arbitrations. She is on the HKIAC’s List of Arbitrators and HKIAC’s Panel of Arbitrators. Since 2018, she has also been regularly appointed to sit as a Deputy District Judge and Temporary Deputy Registrar of the High Court of Hong Kong SAR.

Recently, she also co-authored two articles on the topics of unjust enrichment and asset recovery respectively published in Lloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly and The Chinese Journal of Comparative Law:
