Ms. Jie (Erica) Gao is a partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm. Before joining Zhong Lun, Ms. Gao practiced law with Global Law Office and Dacheng - Dentons Law Offices.  Ms. Gao specializes in dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and corporate investigations.  She has completed education in both English language common law, and Chinese language civil law jurisdictions.  She has substantial experience of co-operation with leading international firms.

Ms. Gao's dispute resolution experience includes dealing with numerous civil and commercial disputes that were resolved through either litigation in Chinese courts or arbitration in China.  Ms. Gao assists clients in enforcing court judgements and arbitral award, and also acts as PRC counsel to international clients on cross-border litigation cases.  In the areas of commercial disputes, Ms. Gao has handled complex cases involving trading, service contracts, joint ventures, corporate governance, financial transactions, construction, leasing, anti-trust and other types of unfair competition, intellectual property, and employment matters.  She also provides expert opinion from the PRC law perspective in litigation proceedings outside China.

Ms. Gao has substantial experience in assisting clients in regulatory, compliance and white-collar matters. She has represented numerous clients in regulatory investigations by Chinese authorities for commercial bribery, advertising, customs, tax, environmental, and work safety issues.  Ms. Gao also has extensive and diverse experience in assisting companies to deal with white-collar crimes, many of these matters being extremely complicated, and involved both criminal and civil issues.
