Chris is a Partner in Harneys’ Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring team in the British Virgin Islands. He has acted on some of the highest profile BVI cases in the past few years and has extensive experience in fraud and bribery cases, enforcement actions, crypto recovery and corporate winding ups.

Chris has a particular specialism for asset recovery, often collaborating with and advising alongside onshore counsel in cross-border matters. He has recently advised a number of clients in relation to the theft and recovery of digital assets, including the ChainSwap case, which resulted in a first of its kind decision in the BVI Commercial Court.
