Emma BeesleyHead - People Development and Human Resources at AMEA Power
Emma originates from the UK and is a Chartered Organisational Psychologist and Associate Fellow with the British Psychological Society, holding a Master’s in Business Administration from Alliance Manchester Business School.
Emma is currently heading up the Human Resources function for a power investment and development organisation. Her role has been to setup a robust Human Resources function that acts as an enabler to support the company with achieving its ambitious targets.
A big focus in this role is determining and driving the strategy on how the business remains competitive through its people. A proactive learning culture is what Emma drives through the business, bringing together career development, performance and succession/progression.
Prior to this, Emma was part of a transformation with one of the United Arab Emirates largest employers working as part of the leadership team to create an employee focused Human Capital Department.
Emma is committed to getting the best out of people and her professional background, coupled with her ability to understand the business as a whole, fully equips her to be able to integrate people-focused solutions into the core workings of the business.
Her cross-cultural experience is invaluable in this region and this is reflected in her confident and open approach when interacting with employees at all levels of the business.
