Marshall is the only living author with two books on the list. His newest book, and fourth New York Times bestseller, is The Earned Life.

He has been a volunteer advisor and coach for the leaders of the Peter Drucker Foundation, World Bank, St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Mayo Clinic, US Army and Navy, Girl Scouts of the USA, and International and American Red Cross – where he was a National Volunteer of the Year.
