Prof. Guido Gianasso PhDProfessor of leadership at HEC Paris
Guido Gianasso is Professor of Leadership at HEC Paris in Qatar. He was previously Associate Dean and Professor of Global Leadership at Nanyang Business School in Singapore.
In addition to his teaching role at HEC Paris, he is Visiting Professor at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and the Wealth Management Institute (WMI) in Singapore. He is also the Honorary Consul of Romania in Geneva.
A Swill-Italian national, Professor Gianasso holds a PhD in Management from the University of Geneva. The focus of his research is on Global Leadership, and in particular on the relationship between Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and job performance. He is a recipient of several teaching awards, including the 2020 Nanyang Business School “Teacher of the Year Award”.
Before moving to Academia, Professor Gianasso worked for three decades in the corporate world and held “C suite” roles at Credit Suisse and the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where he was the CEO of the IATA Training and Development Institute.
Professor Gianasso is fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Romanian.
