Marjolein de Jong

Global Benchmarks Officer at ING

Marjolein de Jong started her career within ING in 2001, working in various area’s within the finance and market risk management domains: consolidation, accounting, controlling and ALM. 

In May 2017, Marjolein de Jong was appointed interest rate benchmark coordinator within the ING Bank's Group Treasury organization. Marjolein was responsible for global oversight of interest rate benchmarks, taking into account regulatory developments and reforms. 

In February 2020, Marjolein de Jong was appointed to global benchmarks officer for ING Bank, where she is responsible for global oversight of all benchmarks usage, contribution and administration within ING worldwide. 

In addition, on behalf of ING, Marjolein participates in the industry working group on euro risk-free rates and supports the chair of this group.
