Jan LohrbergSenior Competition Counsel at Deutsche Telekom
Jan Lohrberg is currently working as a Counsel for International Competition affairs at Deutsche Telekom headquarters dealing not only with M&A activities and strategic cooperation, antitrust compliance, recovery litigation or abuse of dominance cases but also with competition enforcement and policy in the digital age.
Prior to this Jan was serving as a case handler as well as in international affairs and public relations unit of the German competition agency. He started his career in private practice and gained hands-on experience in various international law firms located in Germany, Brussels and Washington D.C. across a number of industry sectors.
Working at the crossroads of law, technology and policy, Jan is actively involved with the competition related activities of the OECD and other international organizations. Jan is a German qualified lawyer and holds a Master’s degree in comparative EU/US competition law from King’s College London as well as a certificate in economic analysis from the European School of Management and Technology.
