Inspired by his family, mainly his parents and uncle, Mr. Bedley earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology from the University of California, San Diego. Subsequently, he joined the Veterans Medical Research Foundation as an oncology researcher, where he remained between 2002 and 2004, before transferring to Olympus Corporation of the Americas as a sales specialist, where he led a campaign for microscopes to reclaim displaced market share from three major competitors. Over the years, Mr. Bedley gained valuable professional expertise as an advanced imaging specialist and an advanced biosystems specialist for Nikon Instruments, and as a private equity principal and adviser for Paradyme Consulting, LLC, where he led a $30 million capital raise for a renewable energy project and raised $20 million in capital for a clean energy investment group. Drawing on his considerable expertise, he excels today as a business development consultant in private practice.
