After a PhD in theoretical chemistry and multiple years spent in academic research in Urbana-Champaign (IL, USA) and Milan and Pisa (Italy), AT moves to the pharmaceutical business where he gains 20 years experience in strategy and commercial roles at local and international level in several therapeutic areas including Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, Rare diseases, Respiratory, Dermatology. He operated in different organizations such as Merck, Pfizer, Novartis. He joined Resalis Therapeutics in October 2022 to accelerate the company development from research to FIH development.

AT is also engaged in biotech business through Italian Angels for Growth (IAG) particularly serving as champion for three Oncology biotech companies
