Acting Environmental Program Manager- Marine Invasive Species Program at California State Lands Commission


Chris Scianni is the Acting Environmental Program Manager of the California State Lands Commission’s Marine Invasive Species Program. Chris led the development of California’s biofouling management regulations and continues to work with marine scientists and inspection teams to implement and enforce these regulations. Chris also chairs the Coastal Committee of the Western Regional Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species. Chris received a BSc in Marine Biology from California State University, Long Beach and an MSc in Marine Science with an emphasis in Biological Oceanography from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories through California State University, Stanislaus.
