Chelsey McCarthyExecutive Director at The DDX3X Foundation
Chelsey McCarthy is the Executive Director of the DDX3X Foundation, an international non-profit organization dedicated to funding research to find a cure for DDX3X Syndrome, which is estimated to account for up to 3% of all intellectual disabilities in females. She has over a decade of public relations, advocacy, and non-profit leadership experience. Most recently she worked at the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine where she founded and ran all of the organization’s patient engagement programs. Chelsey started her career on Capitol Hill. She holds a B.S. in Public Relations and an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications, both from West Virginia University.
