Lincoln Tsang is a partner and head of European Life Sciences Practice based in the London office of Ropes & Gray, a global law firm headquartered in Boston. His practice is focused on regulatory, compliance and enforcement/litigation as well as public policy affecting the life sciences sector. He has led a number of cases before the European Courts on matters concerning EU law interpretation affecting the life sciences industry. He has worked in both public and private sectors for over 30 years. He was a senior official and head of biologicals/biotechnology of the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. During his tenure, he was appointed as an advisor to the European Medicines Agency, European Commission, European Council, the Council of Europe and the World Health Organization. He has continued to serve as an advisor to the UK Government through his ministerial appointment as the Board Member of the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control, a Commissioner of the British Pharmacopoeia Commission, a non-executive member of the Health Protection Agency.
