Alayna ThomspsonSr Research Scientist II, NBE ARD at AbbVie Inc
Originally trained in protein structure and function, Alayna is a converted protein mass spectrometrist. After a Ph.D. at the University of Arizona, and postdoctoral training at Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine, she joined AbbVie’s Discovery Protein Mass Spectrometry group in 2016.. In 2020, she joined the Development Sciences New Biological Entities Analytical Research & Development organization. Current work focuses on applying forced degradation workflows coupled with high-content mass spectrometry to biotherapeutic candidates in the Discovery/Development transition.
