Bob St.Onge is a Senior Research Scientist and group leader at Stanford University with over 15 years of experience developing and applying novel synthetic biology methods in S. cerevisiae. His current technology interests are in scaling CRISPR/Cas9 precision genome editing, enhancing homology directed repair (HDR), and expanding DNA synthesis capabilities. Applications of interest include heterologous expression of biosynthetic pathways, enzyme optimization, functional genomics, and dissecting genotype-phenotype relationships.
