Gerald Gellermann

Senior Fellow at Novartis Biologics

Gerald currently holds a position as Senior Fellow and Analytical Project Leader in Analytical Development at Novartis. He is the co-lead of the Novartis/Sandoz QbD initiative for biologics. Prior to joining Novartis in 2015 he was working at Roche where he was among other responsibilities analytical lead the first biotech project with a globally approved design space. Before joining Roche in 2008 he gained professional experience as a scientist in neuroscience research and later in the diagnostic division at Abbott. Gerald holds a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Constance (Germany) and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Jena (Germany).
