Wen Ning Chu
Postdoctoral Scholar at North Carolina State University

Dr. Chu earned his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2019, with the thesis “High-throughput screening for human serum albumin and antibody separation with mixed-mode chromatography," advised by Prof. Dong-qiang Lin. Soon after, he joined the group of Dr. Menegatti at NC State University, where he is currently a postdoctoral scholar. Dr. Chu's expertise is in the purification of therapeutic biopharmaceuticals - including monoclonal antibodies, plasma proteins, and viral vectors for gene therapy - via affinity and mixed-mode chromatography. His recent efforts have focused on flow-through purification of IgG from complex sources, including recombinant cell culture fluids and whole plasma.
