Gene Therapy Cell Line Technologies Lead at Biogen

Yizhou Zhou is currently leading the Gene Therapy Cell Line Technologies team at Biogen. Yizhou is responsible for critical biological raw materials including plasmids and cell lines to support rAAV production and drives production platform innovations. She worked in clinical cell line development and applications of omics to protein production before moving to gene therapy. She obtained Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan and worked at Genentech before joining Biogen.
