Todd PrzybycienProfessor, Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering at RPI
Todd M. Przybycien is Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. He received a PhD in chemical engineering from Caltech. After two years as a Senior Research Engineer working on process development for somatotropins with Monsanto Agricultural Company, he joined the faculty at RPI. He later moved to Carnegie Mellon University where he was a faculty member in the chemical engineering and Founding Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department. In Fall 2018, he returned to RPI. Todd’s research interests include precipitation processes, selectivity enhancement in affinity chromatography, rapid adventitious agent testing and API and adventitious agent surrogates for process development and validation.
