Profile

Julien Besnard graduated from Texas A&M University, U.S.A. with a Ph.D. in molecular plant biology in 2018. Julien is a French research engineer working on the "Soja made in Normandie" project at the University of Caen, France. Julien's role in the "Soja made in Normandie" project is to conduct, coordinate, and communicate research within the project. His research aims to find the best soybean varieties suited for Normandy's climate. Moreover, his research is focused on the screening of biostimulants aimed to improve soybean growth, development and yield under Normandy's climate in lab, greenhouses, and field experiments.
