After earning the degree in Agricultural Technologies and Sciences in 2005, she completed her studies working at the Plant Health Session of the Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Environment of Malta. She has been working in Green Has Italia S.p.A. since 2009. She joined the R&D Department in 2011 as Manager and in 2019 she became Director.
Currently she is leading the research and development of innovative biostimulants to increase yield, reduce fertilizer inputs and enhance quality of crops subjected to multi-stress conditions.
The development goes through formulation and selection of effective products using a multi-disciplinary approach: agronomic effectiveness, chemical characterization and studies on mode of action (genomic, proteomic, metabolomic and ionomic).
