Xavier Draye is professor of crop physiology, quantitative genetics and biometry at the Faculty of Bioengineering of UCLouvain. He has developped a 28-year multidisciplinary expertise in root physiology and development, structural root models, QTL analysis, soil-plant interactions and root phenotyping, in order to support the development of crop genotypes that are more resilient to future challenges of agriculture.
