He’s worked one-on-one with hundreds of Health Transformers – CEOs and founders from the StartUp Health family – to craft narratives of impact for every vertical from social media to video to podcast to the written word. Logan is the founding editor in chief of StartUp Health Magazine, which was recognized in 2019 with a Power Press Award for excellence in reporting.
Logan is a journalist and creative director with 15 years of experience covering healthcare, technology, entrepreneurship, global health and emergency medicine. After studying at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, Logan worked as the editor of a medical journal for more than a decade. Building on that experience he founded Emergency Physicians International, a global health magazine that has been printed in more than 10 countries, and then created Telemedicine Magazine, the first consumer publication about virtual healthcare.
Logan hosted the podcast Health Innovation Matters and is frequently interviewed as a subject matter expert in digital health trends and content strategy. Whatever the medium, Logan pushes for authentic, human storytelling – the journalism of empathy – and deeply believes that everyone has a story to tell.
